Three Year-Olds

Every child is a unique person with an individual pattern and timing of growth and development. At WCPC Preschool, we understand the standards of child development and create an environment of learning for everyone. Our preschool strives to maintain a good balance between child initiated play activities and teacher- directed learning activities.

Language takes off for three year-olds. They learn lots of new words and begin to initiate conversation. They are able to listen to stories and songs and use new language and enjoy simple dramatic play. Emotionally, three year-olds need familiar adults nearby for security as they explore and play.

Our program for our three year-olds is hands-on learning, as teachers guide the children through exploration, discovery, and social interaction.
